Few regions offer the variety found across the Sierra Nevada. Mountain communities and vibrant cities sit alongside alpine lakes, historic neighborhoods, and some of the West’s most spectacular landscapes. From Reno’s restaurants, entertainment, and arts scene to Lake Tahoe’s year-round recreation and Carson City’s rich history, the region offers countless ways to explore, connect, and experience something new.
Behind that distinctive character are the local businesses and people who bring these communities to life. Restaurants create memorable experiences, retailers and service providers support residents and visitors, and professionals across countless industries contribute to the strength of the region. Best of Sierra Nevada gives the community an opportunity to recognize those that have earned its trust and support.
Now in its fourth year, Best of Sierra Nevada continues to build on the enthusiasm that has defined the program. This year, more than 146,000 votes were cast, a 35 percent increase year over year. That participation demonstrates how strongly residents feel about celebrating the businesses, organizations, and individuals that make the Sierra Nevada region special.
We extend our sincere thanks to GGRM, Nevada’s Premier Injury Law Firm, for its support of Best of Sierra Nevada. We are also grateful to our advertisers, participating businesses, and everyone who nominated and voted. Their involvement makes this celebration of the region possible.
Congratulations to this year’s Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners.
